A Living World for Intentional Writers

DreemWorld

Write  ยท  Play  ยท  Finish  ยท  Repeat

Fiction. Non-fiction. Your world or ours.

Whatever you're writing, DreemWorld helps you finish it.

With deadlines that feel like quests, weekly critiques from writing peers, and a gamified world that makes accountability fun.

Welcome to writing... reimagined.

The World

What is DreemWorld?

DreemWorld is a gamified collaborative writing platform designed for serious writers who want to finish what they start. Whether you're crafting fiction or non-fiction, this is for people who prioritize their craft, commit to deadlines, and invest in community. During a six-month season, you'll complete a significant body of work depending on your chosen schedule, develop your editing skills through peer critique, and finish with a polished, publishable manuscript.

What makes us different? We've turned the creative process into an adventure. Our gamification (salaries to earn, homes to decorate, trophies to display, gardens that grow) isn't just fun. It's the spoonful of sugar that keeps you motivated when the work gets hard.

At the end of your season, you choose what's next. Host your completed work on DreemWorld where fans support your work through paid access, build an author portfolio to showcase your writing career, and connect with traditional publishers, take your manuscript and publish anywhere you choose, or all of the above!

Your story deserves to be heard. And so do you.

Choose Your Path

Two Tracks

Fiction Writers

  • โ—†Create a character, avatar, role, and choose a realm within DreemWorld.
  • โ—†Your story can be collaborative with other DreemWorld citizens , solo fan fiction, or entirely independent of DreemWorld lore.
  • โ—†Earn "salaries" to decorate your virtual home, unlock clothes and accessories, display trophies, and grow gardens through community interaction.
  • โ—†Participate in World events, challenges, and surprises throughout the season!

Non-Fiction Writers

  • โ—†Work within Scholar Tree, a studious treehouse realm designed for research, essays, memoirs, travel guides, cookbooks and more.
  • โ—†Gamification is optional. Focus on your book, or choose to engage with the World's features. Deadlines and critiques still fuel your quest to complete!
  • โ—†And who knows? You might finish your non-fiction project and get pulled into the fiction fun for future seasons!

The Gate

Ready to Join?

Answer these four questions honestly then reach out.

1

Am I serious about writing?

  • โ—†Yes? Go to question 2!
  • โ—†No? We'll see you in another season!
2

What is my schedule like?

  • โ—†Can I commit to Group A or Group B requirements each week?
  • โ—†Be honest. Writers who can't meet deadlines will be removed.
3

Fiction or Non-Fiction?

  • โ—†Which track fits my project?
4

How are writers grouped?

  • โ—†To keep your workload manageable and foster real connections, writers are organized into communities of approximately 15 people.
  • โ—†This means you're reading and critiquing a small, consistent group each week, not an overwhelming crowd. You'll be placed automatically into an available community when you're accepted. No need to choose! We'll match you with writers starting at the same time.
5

Do I need to know the lore?

  • โ—†If you're writing immersive fiction within DreemWorld lore, yes!
  • โ—†You'll want to catch up on the season book before you start. Major events and beloved contributions from past seasons become permanent additions to the world. If you're writing standalone fiction or non-fiction, the lore is optional. You can engage with it as much or as little as you'd like.
